Adam Clindaniel
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Adam Clindaniel, a member of the Boys Basketball Team at South Central High School.
Adam led his team to a come-from-behind 75-73 victory over their arch-rivals, the LaCrosse Tigers, with the best scoring game of his career.
With the Satellites leading scorer in early foul trouble in the first half and their point guard sidelined with an ankle injury early in the second half, it fell to Adam to turn into the team leader.
The 6-1 Junior poured in 27 points, nearly 3 times his season scoring average. With the Satellites off to a slow start, he hit three 3-pointers to give his team the lead in the first half, then, with his team down by 7 in the fourth quarter, he took charge with key scores and defensive plays that saved the day for South Central in one of the biggest games of the year.
A three-sport athlete at South Central, Adam also plays football and baseball, where he hit a home run that helped bring his team from behind in the Sectional baseball championship game last Spring.
Adam is the son of Paula and Monte Clindaniel of Hanna and will be featured on “Sports Talk with Nathan Welter” Thursday night on WKVI with a featured picture and story on wkvi.com.

LaCrosse exchange students Claudia Polli and Kandal Aspin.
On a beautiful spring day in May, LaCrosse hosted South Central in a PCC softball matchup. The Lady Satellites emerged victorious over the Lady Tigers 14-0. Jessica Sturdy came away with the win for SC, giving up just one run in the complete game victory. The Satellites proved to be too much along the base path, stealing multiple bases throughout the game. The Tigers, meanwhile, showed that they are growing as they were able to hold their own late in the game. It was a battle of experience versus inexperience, and as it usually does, the experience prevailed.
