The Yellowstone Trail Festival continues today and tomorrow in Hamlet. Musical entertainment, circus performances, and a family magic show will be featured at the Starke County Fairgrounds.

he Starke County Youth Club’s fall fundraiser is set for Saturday, Aug. 18 at 9 a.m. at the Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department.
Hamlet’s annual celebration of classic transportation returns this weekend. The Yellowstone Trail Fest takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Starke County Fairgrounds.
A Rainbow Splash Fun Run and Walk is set for Sunday, Aug. 20 at 8 a.m. CT at the Hamlet Fire Station and all of the proceeds will benefit kids in Starke County. The event is part of this year’s Yellowstone Trail Festival.
This is an opportunity to meet with your friends for a morning of fun. Run or walk this event and get splashed with color at points along the route. Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Starke County Youth Club

The Town of Hamlet is getting ready for next weekend’s Yellowstone Trail Fest. During Wednesday’s town council meeting, Town Marshal Frank Lonigro, Jr. agreed to have the police department provide traffic control during the Rainbow Splash 5K, as it did last year. Water and Street Superintendent Fred Rowe said the town also has street barricades ready. Continue reading

Yellowstone Trail Fest begins tomorrow and will run from 9 am until 10 pm on Saturday and from 8 am until 5 pm on Sunday. The festival kicks off with a 9 am biscuits and gravy breakfast. All proceeds collected from the breakfast will go to the Knox Band Boosters. Continue reading
