Town-Wide Yard Sale Discussed at North Judson Town Council Meeting

Saturday’s town-wide yard sale was a topic of discussion when North Judson Town Council members met Monday evening.

Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe told members that there were 43 individuals who signed up in time to be included on the maps and eight additional individuals came in to purchase permits after the fact. Continue reading →

North Judson Town Hall is Located at 310 Lane Street

The maps for Saturday’s town-wide yard sale in North Judson are printed and ready to be picked up.

Town Billing Clerk Jennifer Vanek said approximately 500 maps will be available. They can be picked up from Town Hall, as well as multiple local businesses including Family Express, Good-to-Go, Heartland Market Grocery Store and NAPA. Continue reading →

Don’t Miss Your Chance to be on the Map for this Year’s North Judson Town Wide Yard Sale

North Judson residents who wish to participate in the annual town wide yard sale need to sign up as soon as possible! The event will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, August 4th from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

To participate a permit must be received from Town Hall, located at 310 Lane Street. In order to appear on this year’s map, individuals need to be signed up by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31st.  Continue reading →

Date and Fee Established for Annual Town Wide Garage Sale in North Judson

Requests pertaining to the date and permit fee for the North Judson town-wide yard sale were brought before the town council during their meeting last Monday.

Billing Clerk Jennifer Vanek asked council members if the annual sale could be held on the first Saturday in August, which will be the 4th. She also requested that the yard sale permit fee, which typically costs $10, be reduced to $5 for the event. Continue reading →

North Judson Town-Wide Yard Sale a Success, May Become Annual

Yard sale enthusiasts flocked to North Judson this past weekend to take advantage of the cornucopia of sales around the town. Clerk-Treasurer Donna Henry said the town was chock-full of cars and visitors searching for good deals at the more than 46 yard sales present on the map provided by the town. Henry said she traveled the area and asked some of the residents holding sales how they felt the day was going, and many responded favorably.

North Judson Town Wide Yard Sale on Saturday

The town of North Judson will hold a town-wide yard sale event on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a discounted yard sale permit fee from $10 to $5 for residents who register for the event. The town council recently passed a resolution decreasing the permit fee for the day and excepting the day from the total number of yard sale days allowed for residents.
