One Arrested on Drug Charges in Marshall County

 
 
A suspect was arrested Friday in Marshall County after a traffic stop on Jefferson Street.

A deputy from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department pulled over a car driven by Matthew Bailey as Bailey was speeding. The officer learned that Bailey was operating his vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. The deputy also reportedly found a significant amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Matthew Bailey was taken into custody on possession charges and booked into the Marshall County Jail. His bond was set at $1,500.
