Robbery Investigation Underway in Lapaz – Third Robbery This Year

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is investigating yet another armed robbery incident at the Bottle Stop Liquor Store in Lapaz.

On Friday night, officers were called to the store at 107 N. Michigan Rd. after a white female allegedly displayed a weapon and demanded that the employee remove money from the cash register. She was last seen wearing black pants, black coat and a scarf.

Marshall County Police Investigate Second Armed Robbery at LaPaz Business

Marshall County Police are investigating the second armed robbery incident at the Bottle Stop Liquor Store in LaPaz in a month.

On Friday, February 17th, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a robbery at the Bottle Stop Liquor Store in LaPaz. The clerk told police that a male subject walked into the liquor store, brandished a knife and demanded money. The suspect was then chased out of the store by a clerk and left on foot. No money was taken during the incident.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Investigating Armed Robbery Incident

An armed robbery incident is being investigated by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.

Police were called to the Bottle Stop Liquor Store on Michigan Street in Lapaz on Monday night where the employee said a man brandished a knife and demanded cash from the register. The employee was cut on a finger with the suspect’s knife. Police arrived on the scene within one minute, but the suspect had fled the scene and was not immediately found. The man had run out the front door toward the alley. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the cash register.
