Lowell High School Principal to Return to Work

Former North Judson resident and current Lowell High School Principal, Adrian Richie, will return to work after Labor Day on a part-time basis. Richie has been battling the effects of burns on 35 percent of his body after an accident that occurred at his home on July 6th.

Richie was trying to burn a pile of debris when he poured gasoline on a portion of cardboard when it ignited burning his arms and legs.

Former North Judson Man Recovering after Fire Incident

A former North Judson man sustained burns to over 35% of his body last week. The Post-Tribune reported in a story this week that Adrian Richie is expected to make a full recovery. He received second degree burns on his arms and legs.

Richie was clearing brush at his residence at Lake Dalecarlia when he attempted to burn it by pouring a small amount of gasoline on a large piece of cardboard. When the cardboard was ignited, it burst into flames.
