Director of Operations, Pat Dunn

Pat  Dunn came to Knox in the 1970s  after serving with the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971 and became the owner of  Knox Insurance Agency, which he operated from 1971 until 2004.   Pat has been active in civic affairs having served on the Starke County Welfare Board, two terms as President of the Knox Kiwanis Club was an origional sponsor of the Starke County Developement Foundation, a Bush, Little League and Senior League  Baseball Coach.   Pat chaired the committee that oversaw the Cottonwood ditch reconstuction project  along with other projects with the Starke County Chamber and Starke United and various other non-profit organizations.

Pat and his wife Karen reside in Starke County have two children, Travis a marketing director for Thermo Scan Industries in Indianapolis and Bridget a commercial lines insurance agent for 1st Source Insurance in Knox.  Karen is also employed as a personal lines agent at 1st Source Insurance Agency.

Pat joined the Board of Directors of WKVI in the mid 1980s and has been actively involved ever since. And, in early 2010, Pat became WKVI’s  Director of Operations

Pat is constantly exploring new technologies and methods to improve the quality of WKVI for long-time listeners and new generations that daily depend on WKVI for news, sports and the best music of the 70′s, 80′s, 90′s and Now.
