Anita Goodan started in radio right out of high school in 1995 when she literally walked across the street and asked for a job in the business at a radio station in her hometown of Shelby, Montana.  She worked there and worked there as much as she could while attending college. She left Montana in 1999 and a few months later joined the Kankakee Valley Broadcasting, Inc. family.

Anita  has been at K99.3 WKVI since April 2000 and is currently working in the news department.  You can hear her weekdays in the afternoon at the top of every hour with news.  She also delivers the evening news at 5 p.m. CT.

She participates in two bowling leagues, one of which WKVI sponsors.  She is also a fan of baseball, hockey and NASCAR.  Visit her Behind the Wheel column on this website to get in on all the action in the world of NASCAR.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, Steve, and their two cats, her friends and family and she enjoys quilting.
