Incidents:
06/17/12 A battery incident was reported in the Francesville area. No arrests were made and the two intoxicated subjects involved were separated and all has calmed down.

06/17/12 A Winamac woman called the Winamac Police Department to report a battery. She told police that she was walking down the street and got beat up. She said the assailant took her money and her prescription medication. The assailant called police later to report that her wallet was stolen by the previous caller.

06/17/12 A caller in the community of Pulaski called to report that several pedestal box tops were found alongside the road and in field in the area. The United Telephone System was called to notify them of the situation.

06/17/12 The Francesville Fire Department was called to a fire at State Road 39 and 550 South. Fire department personnel told dispatch that it was a controlled burn and the homeowners are burning an old swimming pool.

06/16/12 A Star City man told Pulaski County police that someone spread ketchup and syrup all over the side of his shop. The substances also got in the air conditioner and on a vehicle.

06/16/12 An employee at a Winamac gas station reported a drive-off .

06/16/12 The Buffalo Township Fire Department was called to a structure fire in Monon. The owner said it is an abandoned structure but there are valuable items inside.

06/15/12 The Winamac Town Police were called to a Winamac residence to take a report on a break-in at a home.

06/15/12 A Medaryville resident reported a stolen pistol.

06/14/12 A Monterey resident called police to report that someone was breaking into her neighbor’s house. The caller said the unknown person(s) broke in the front door and are loading items into a white pickup with a topper. One subject told police that he was allowed to take items from the home and was given permission by the former owner. The property is now owned by the county and the commissioners have the final say as to if he can take things from the property. Until then, he is not allowed back on the property.

06/14/12 A Cass Township resident called police to report theft and criminal mischief at his farm.

06/14/12 A theft incident was called in by a person living in the Franklin Township area. An X-Box, GPS, a tool box and a computer monitor were stolen.

06/14/12 A personal injury accident was reported around 7790 N. 600 E. in the Monterey area. A small child had facial cuts and a cut upper lip, but no fractures were found. The driver was later airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

06/13/12 A tractor and grass fire was reported in the Monon area.

06/13/12 A report was made to the Sheriff’s Department of a subject who used a fake ID to purchase tobacco.

06/13/12 The Medaryville Fire Department was called to a small woods fire.

06/13/12 The Medaryville Fire Department was notified of a complaint of trash burning in the area.

06/12/12 A window was broken out of a car door in Medaryville.

06/12/12 A battery incident was reported in the Monterey area.

06/11/12 The Winamac Police Department was called to take a report on theft of services.

06/11/12 A Winamac caller reported the theft of lumber from his property.

06/11/12 A Franklin Township resident reported the theft of two weed eaters.

06/11/12 A Medaryville resident reported the theft of prescription medication and a debit card from a vehicle.

06/11/12 A caller in the Medaryville area told police that a known subject broke the windshield out of his van and the subject is threatening more damage.

06/18/12 Dominic Ricci, 32, 7920 Country Breeze, Culver, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant.

06/15/12 Mark A. Minix, 50, 200 Franklin St., Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Driving While Suspended – Prior. Discharged 06/16/12

06/15/12 Dustin Hughes, 21, 14816 W. 300 N., Medaryville, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant.

06/15/12 Roger Frinkel, 30, 3356 N. 1400 W., Medaryville, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant.

06/12/12 Melvon Doty, 38, 3414 E. 600 N., Monterey, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Domestic Battery.

Incidents:
06/18/12 George Ison reported a stolen vehicle. Ison told police that a pickup was parked in the garage on Locust Street and it does not run. He had last seen the vehicle in November.

06/17/12 Police were called to the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where Kimberly Derby’s vehicle was damaged due to a large tree limb falling on it.

06/16/12 Peggy Arquette reported her purse stolen from the bathroom at the BP station.

06/16/12 Knox police took a call from Mike Risner who reported a stolen chain saw from his truck.

06/16/12 Suly N. Hayman reported the theft of her purse.

06/15/12 Knox police were notified of a possible theft case. The complaintant reported that he thought a resident was stealing water from the City of Knox.

06/15/12 A case of animal cruelty was reported. A puppy had not been fed or had any water for several days in the heat. Animal control was notified.

06/12/12 Christina Yacconi told police that the passenger side rear tire to her vehicle was flat. It was determined that some unknown suspect cut her tire.

06/17/12 Michael Kajawski, 63, 880 N. U.S. 35, Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

06/14/12 Todd Kring, 39, 7920 Country Breeze East Dr., Culver, IN, arrested on two active arrest warrants through Marshall County.

06/11/12 Gary Frazo, Jr., 35, 11945 E. State Road 8, Culver, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

Incidents:
06/17/12 A report of a fight at a local business was reported to North Judson police. This incident is still being investigated.

06/17/12 The North Judson Police Department received a call about an intoxicated male at the intersection of Main and Keller. North Judson Officer Kelly Fisher arrested Cary P. Dolembo, 36, of Westville for Public Intoxication and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officer Fisher was assisted by Starke County Posse Member Jim Coldiron.

06/15/12 A resident found a bike in the wooded trail area. The bike was taken to the North Judson Police Department for safe keeping.

06/15/12 A resident in the 600 Block of Garden Street reported a blue Mongoose bike stolen. The estimated value is $80.00.

06/15/12 A North Judson Park Board member contacted the North Judson police in reference to some vandalism done to shelter #1 at the North Judson Town Park. This incident is still being investigated.

06/14/12 A resident in the 500 block of Vine street reported to North Judson Police that he had some items stolen out of his storage locker on Talmer Avenue. Two items were taken approximately three weeks ago. An antique diver’s helmet with an estimated value of $400.00 and a set of golf clubs with an estimated value of $100.00. This incident is still being investigated.

06/12/12 Family Express contacted the North Judson Police Department in reference to a wallet found on a shelf in the store. North Judson Police Chief Doug Vessely picked up the wallet and went to return it to the resident who it belonged to. The resident stated, that he lost it while walking with his son the night before. The owner asked four juvenile males to help look for the wallet. Missing from the wallet was approximately $190.00. This incident is still being investigated.

06/11/12 A resident of the 4300 block of South 250 East in Knox told police that items had been taken from her yard for the last two nights.
06/11/12 A resident of the 10800 block of East 900 South in Monterey reported a theft of items from a trailer.
06/11/12 A canoe was reportedly stolen in the 6200 block of East Donald Road in Knox.
06/11/12 Shelly Kemble told police that go-carts were racing at the old Washington Township school.
06/11/12 A resident of the 3400 block of East 500 South in Knox told police that his sister had just been battered by her boyfriend.
06/12/12 Two chainsaws were reported stolen in the 3400 block of West 400 South in North Judson.
06/12/12 Vandalism was reported at the Living Water Christian Church.
06/13/12 A caller from the 1700 block of East 250 South in Knox told police that her vehicle had been vandalized.
06/13/12 A dog was allegedly shot while on its chain in the 1800 block of South 200 East in Knox.
06/14/12 A fight was reportedly on Range Road, north of Toto Road, in Knox.
06/14/12 A theft was reported in the 1100 block of East 150 South in Knox.
06/14/12 Copper wiring was reportedly stolen from a garage being built near Seneca Lane and Topinabee in Walkerton.
06/15/12 Sandra Richie told police that someone had stolen jewelry and an air compressor from the residence.
06/15/12 Marsha Allen told police that there was an old rusted van parked at the Eagle Creek Church with several people outside running around the gazebo.
06/15/12 A caller told police that she had been battered by a woman in the 300 block of North Clark Street in Knox.
06/17/12 A caller from the 6300 block of East 800 South in Knox told police that she was attacked by two males and two females in Pulaski County.
