Incidents:
11/28/10 Alex Locke of Knox reported the theft of a Kenwood car stereo out of his car. There is a suspect in this case.

11/27/10 Amy Cooke reported that her laptop computer and a camera was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at 201 N. Main Street.

11/26/10 Justin Miller, 26, 703 E. Culver Rd. Knox, IN, cited for Operator Never Licensed.

11/25/10 Becky Richie reported her air conditioning unit was stolen from her home.

11/24/10 Kathleen Eckert reported her purse stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at the Knox Middle School.

11/24/10 John Fawley reported that some unknown male knocked on his front door, the man accused him of stealing a yellow bicycle and punched him in the face. Fawley told police that he had never seen him before.

11/23/10 Tammy Small reported that she was shopping at Five Star and put her bags into her car. She pulled away from the parking lot and realized she forgot her purse in the cart. She returned to retrieve her purse but it was gone.

11/23/10 Tricia Jackson reported her cell phone and $20 in cash stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at the Next Door Food Store in Knox.

11/22/10 Knox Community School Transportation Director, Mark Jensen, reported that some unknown person(s) knocked down a portion of split rail fence along the bus garage road, just outside of the chain link fence area. The unknown person(s) then went back to the area where a 1991 Ford F350 school van was parked and they reportedly broke out a passenger side window. Police noted that it appeared that rocks were thrown at this van and broke the window. The action also put dents in the vehicle and chipped the paint.

11/29/10 Dana Boyd, 20, 7840 E. 50 S., Knox, IN arrested on an active arrest warrant.

11/28/10 Alyssa Wireman, 18, 102 Front St., LaCrosse, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Auto Theft, Possession of Methamphetamine and Resisting Law Enforcement by Fleeing.

11/27/10 Samuel Singleton, 36, 0345 N. State Road 23, Knox, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant for Forgery, a Class C Felony, out of Starke Circuit Court.

11/27/10 Meagan Girard, 28, Ora, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Operator Never Licensed.

11/26/10 Carl Daughtery, 31, 503 S. Prettyman St., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of an Illegal Drug Lab and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Stephanie Daughtery, 30, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of an Illegal Drug Lab and Resisting Law Enforcement.

11/26/10 Fred Brewer, 426 E. Maple Dr., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Conversion and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance.

11/25/10 Linda Wireman, 26, 308 E. John St., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of a Schedule 3 Controlled Substance, Possession of a Schedule 4 Controlled Substance (x3), Possession of a Legend Drug and Theft.

11/25/10 Przemyslaw Marian Kurkowski, 21, 6520 S. Lakewinds, Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

11/24/10 Ricky D. Hoffer, 43, 2334 W. U Road, North Judson, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Habitual Traffic Violator and Failure to Surrender Driver’s License.

Incidents:
11/29/10 Brian Soaler of North Judson reported that some unknown person(s) pried open his front door. He told police that he didn’t think anything was taken.

11/29/10 John Jeffers of Hamlet reported that a person is in his backyard in a white hoodie was messing with the electrical box.

11/28/10 Officers were called to the Grovertown Truck Stop to investigate an allegation that parents might be under the influence and yelling at the kids.

11/28/10 Rodney Jagnecki on Fisher Street in Knox told police that he heard gunshots north of his residence.

11/27/10 Osborne’s Mini Mart called police regarding a possible shoplifter in the store. Upon investigating, the person did not steal anything and was asked to leave.

11/26/10 Elizabeth Beauchamp called police to report a license plate stolen from her vehicle while she was in Bailey’s Discount Center.

11/24/10 A caller advised police that a possible meth lab dump site was located on 100 North, west of 800 East on the north side of the road. The contents were in white garbage bags.

11/23/10 Jason Maroules reported that his two dogs were stolen from his residence and taken to the Starke County Humane Society. He also reported that this was not the first time this had happened.

11/23/10 Kenneth Peverelle reported that some unknown person(s) blew up his mailbox.

Accidents:
11/28/10 Joseph Palm of Knox hit a deer while driving north on US 35 by 810 South in Starke County. As a result, his vehicle went off the road and into a pond. He and his passenger exited the vehicle before it sank into the pond.

Arrests:

11/26/10 Michael Davis, 42, Hobart, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

11/24/10 Curtis Luedtke, 36, of North Judson, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Driving While Suspended.
