Incidents:
05/08/11 A Winamac resident called police to report a hit and run. He had his car parked by the movie theatre and while he was at the movie with his friends, some unknown person(s) did damage to his vehicle.

05/08/11 Dollar General reported a shoplifter.

05/08/11 A Francesville resident reported a male juvenile subject shooting a BB gun around the area and hitting the neighbors’ property.

05/07/11 A Winamac resident reported the theft of a handgun.

05/06/11 A vehicle fire was reported to police in the Winamac area. Vehicle was fully engulfed when emergency personnel arrived on scene.

05/06/11 A cock fighting incident was reported to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.

05/03/11 A Winamac resident said he just got home and noticed his apartment had been broken into. A flat screen TV was taken.

05/02/11 A Winamac resident requested an officer for vandalism to a vehicle. A mirror was tampered with and the other was pried off and run over by another vehicle.

05/02/11 A stolen scooter was located and returned.

05/02/11 A Denham resident reported the theft of a license plate.

05/02/11 A resident in the Bruce Lake area reported to police that three sheds were broken into at his summer place. Three sheds had locks on them and they were cut off. Several items were reported stolen.

05/05/11 Dustin Brubaker, 23, 3087 W. 700 N. Rochester, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. Discharged 05/05/11

05/05/11 Arthur Smith, 19, 335 W. Narrow St., Winamac, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant. Discharged 05/09/11

05/03/11 Lelia Zengri, 24, 3355 N. 300 W., Winamac, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant. Discharged 05/03/11

05/03/11 Elyse N. Jackson, 26, 2604 W. 700 N., Rensselaer, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Public Intoxication. Discharged 05/08/11

05/02/11 Tracy Redelman, 44, 2577 S. 50 E., Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Public Intoxication. Discharged 05/03/11

From the North Judson Police Department:

Incidents:
05/07/11 The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum again called police for juvenile subjects throwing rocks at the train as it passed by along English Lake Road, just north of North Judson. North Judson Police responded and spoke with three juveniles responsible for throwing the rocks. A report was made and the parents were notified of the incident. No injuries or damages were sustained.

05/06/11 Stephanie N. Stoll, 23, 1475 W. 400 South, North Judson, IN arrested on a Starke Circuit Court Warrant for Theft and Forgery.

From the Knox City Police Department:

Incidents:
05/08/11 Mike Singleton reported damage to a lock at the Knox Moose Family Center. He had tried to use his key to unlock the front door and found that it had been tampered with. He told police that he would have to open up the lock manually and replace the two keys that are inside the lock that had been damaged. There are no suspects at this time.

05/08/11 Dusty Kasten, 40, 9720 E. 100 N., Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

05/05/11 Matthew Foster, 55, 4355 E. 200 S., Knox IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

05/03/11 Floyd S. Earnest III, 28, 702 Williams St., Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

05/03/11 A juvenile was arrested on a charge of Possession of Marijuana.

Incidents:
05/07/11 A vehicle fire was reported in the 3900 block of South 200 E. in Knox.

05/07/11 A resident in the 200 block of N. 600 E. in Knox reported the theft of his daughter’s mailbox.

05/06/11 A Walkerton resident reported that some juveniles shot out his window with a BB gun and now they are coming to his residence and banging on his windows.

05/06/11 A vehicle fire was reported in the 6000 block of 500 S. in North Judson.

05/06/11 A resident in the 5800 block of E. 100 N. in Knox reported the theft of a wallet and purse.

05/06/11 A resident in the 2300 block of S. State Road 39 in North Judson reported to police that a window and screen were busted at the house.

05/04/11 A Grovertown resident reported the theft of a snow tire and rim from the residence. The suspect(s) also took the cover off a John Deere tractor.

05/04/11 A resident in the 5200 block of S. 800 E. in Knox reported the theft of a tractor.

05/02/11 Diana Hale of North Judson called to report her mailbox was damaged. Her brother’s mailbox was also damaged.

05/02/11 Kurt Wallace, 47, of North Judson, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Trespass.
Matthew Salyer, 37, of North Judson, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Trespass.

Arrests:
05/09/11 Laura M. Beem was arrested on preliminary charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, Open Container and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

05/06/11 Two juveniles from Hamlet were arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery and the case was turned over to the Starke County Probation Department.

05/06/11 David P. Howard was arrested on a preliminary charge of Invasion of Privacy.

05/05/11 Barbara Main of Hamlet was arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery.
