Incidents:
10/27/13 North Judson police responded to an animal complaint in the 200 Block of Arlington Avenue.

10/27/13 Police conducted a traffic stop near John Street and Talmer Avenue. Raymundo Garcia was arrested for Driving While Suspended Prior.

10/27/13 A traffic stop was conducted near Main Street and Luken resulting in the arrest of Ryan H. Bradley, 26, of North Judson.

10/26/13 Officers responded to a minor property damage accident near Lane and Main Streets. Damage was under $1,000.

10/24/13 An animal complaint at R & R Horse Therapy was investigated.

10/24/13 Police took a property damage accident report at the intersection of State Road 10 and County Road 600 West. The driver of the vehicle struck a deer. North Judson Police Officer Frank McDaniel estimated the damage as over $1000.

10/23/13 A resident reported that entry was made into the Little League Concession Stand. North Judson Police Chief Doug Vessely responded and completed a report.

10/23/13 North Judson Police assisted the Indiana State Police on a traffic stop in the area of Hancock and Laurel Streets with an intoxicated driver.

10/22/13 Police responded to a report of an unwanted guest in the 600 block of West Talmer Avenue. After a brief investigation, Faith Thompson, 56, of North Judson, was arrested for possession of marijuana. Thompson was transported to the Starke County Jail without incident.

10/21/13 A North Judson Park Board member reported to police that there was some vandalism done at Norwayne Field.

10/21/13 A resident in the 100 block of Silver street reported to North Judson Police that there was a prowler in the area.

10/21/13 North Judson Police assisted the Indiana State Police serving a warrant in the 5900 block of South U Road East.

10/19/13 The North Judson Police Department assisted the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department in the 300 block of Dahlke Street.

10/19/13 A resident in the 200 block of Maryland Street reported to police that his vehicle was egged.

10/19/13 – A resident in the 300 block of Arlington Avenue called about a loud noise complaint.

10/18/13 An abandoned vehicle with front axle damage was found in the area just south of State Road 10 on County Road 250 West. North Judson Police responded and no one was around the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded.

10/18/13 A woman called North Judson Police from Lake County to report a protection order violation. She stated she has a valid order and the caller stated she was calling somewhere from the North Judson area but would not state where.

10/18/13 North Judson Police responded to a traffic complaint in reference to a vehicle passing a school bus with the stop arm activated on Talmer Avenue near Hubeny Street. The driver was located. Police remind all drivers that you must stop from either direction when approaching a school bus with the stop arm out and/or the front gate opened, under Indiana State Law.

10/18/13 A report of a loose dog was made in the area of Wilson and Weninger Streets in North Judson resulted with police impounding a younger beagle dog at the Starke County Humane Society. A white collar was on the dog, however no tags were located.

10/16/13 Police responded to the high school in reference to a threatening note written on a bathroom wall.

10/15/13 A blue F150 Ford Pickup ran off the roadway in the 700 block of Main Street. North Judson police found that the truck struck a stone and damaged some grass.

Arrests:
10/27/13 Ryan Bradley, Jr., 26, 304 Main Street, of North Judson, IN arrested on a preliminary charge of Driving While Suspended – Prior.

10/27/13 Raymundo Garcia, 26, 104 Fisher Street, of San Pierre, IN, was arrested on a preliminary charge of Driving While Suspended – Prior.

10/22/13 Faith Thompson, 56, of North Judson, IN, was arrested arrested on a preliminary charge of Possession of Marijuana.

10/17/13 David S. Ward, 46, 308 Lincoln Street, North Judson, IN was arrested on a felony bench warrant through Starke County for Battery.

Incidents:
10/21/13 A Pulaski County deputy was flagged down by subject who was on his way to check his irrigation system. He thought parts may have been stolen off of it.

10/21/13 A caller advised of a semi rollover at this location. The injured semi driver was out of the vehicle.

10/20/13 A woman told police that she returned home to find that someone apparently had a party in the vacant house next door. Sometime possibly during the party there was damage to her residence and windows were shot out. Shell casings were found in her yard.

10/18/13 A caller advised of a drive off of $57.41. Winamac police got in contact with the driver and the bill would be paid.

10/18/13 Winamac police were advised of property damage at a residence. The side door and screens were broken. The homeowner did a walk-through to see if anything was missing.

10/17/13 A local business owner notified police of a shoplifter in the store.

10/17/13 A car vs. deer accident was reported. Police responded to a good amount of these calls.

10/16/13 A resident caught a someone trying to steal something off of the neighbor’s porch. She made him give her the items. The property owner does not want a report.

Arrests:
10/27/13 Dillon West, 23, of Medaryville, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct and Possession of Paraphernalia.

10/21/13 Arthur Smith, 22, of Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft.

10/20/13 Rodger Birnbaum, 57, of Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Dealing Marijuana.

10/18/13 James McWhorter, 19, of Wheatfield, IN, arrested on a probation violation.

10/21/13 – A Bass Lake resident reported someone had been stealing her mail.

10/21/13 – A john boat was stolen from the 7700 block of Kickapoo Road in Walkerton and reportedly was sold at Hines Salvage.

10/22/13 – A driver reportedly disregarded three sets of barricades near the Highway 35 and U.S. 30 interchange, burying the vehicle in three feet of sand.

10/22/13 – A resident of the 8400 block of West 500 South in North Judson reported someone had smashed her mailbox.

10/22/13 – Shawna Potter of Knox reported a phone scam.

10/23/13 – Tracy Benavides told police she dropped her credit card and someone found it and fraudulently used it.

10/23/13 – A resident of the 10300 block of East State Road 23 in Walkerton reported a bad check.

10/23/13 – William Duncan of Knox reported someone had broken into his residence.

10/23/13 – A resident of the 2500 block of West 500 South in North Judson reported someone had stolen his grill.

10/24/13 – A semi driver at the Grovertown Truck Stop reported the air valve on his semi had been stolen.

10/25/13 – A resident of the 3100 block of East 900 North in Hamlet reported a female has been taking his checks and cashing them.

10/25/13 – A theft was reported at the Grovertown Truck Stop.

10/25/13 – A battery incident was reported in the 6800 block of East Skyline Ave. in Knox involving a 12-year-old girl.

10/27/13 – A 17-year-old reportedly threatened a man with a gun.

10/19/13 A Knox man reported vandalism on his property.

10/18/13 Diane Allen of North Judson was cited for Driving While Suspended-Prior.

10/18/13 Police investigated a call of a man who is reportedly armed and dangerous in the 8700 block of S. 1175 E. in Culver.

10/18/13 A Walkerton man reported a theft incident.

10/17/13 Police were notified of a possible stabbing.

10/17/13 Police were called to a two-vehicle accident in the 6300 block of S. State Road 10 in Knox.

10/16/13 A Knox resident advised police of items stolen from a gravesite.

10/16/13 A real estate broker reported the theft of an air conditioner from the back yard at a residence on 450 S. in North Judson.

10/16/13 A Grovertown man told police that dead animals are appearing in his driveway

10/14/13 A student was spoken to regarding the research of how to make a bomb on his school-issued laptop.

10/14/13 A harassment report was filed regarding an incident at a local school.

10/14/13 A student was reportedly found to be in possession of drugs at a local school.

10/14/13 A battery incident was reported in the 11500 block of E. Division Road, Knox.

10/14/13 An accident on 300 E. north of 700 S. in Knox was investigated by Starke County officers. A 16-year-old reportedly wrecked his moped. The victim didn’t know how the accident happened.

10/14/13 An officer investigated a report of an alleged Facebook threat.

10/14/13 A resident told police that she received a call from her neighbor at Bass Lake stating that someone broke into the residence and is staying there. No one is allowed to stay there.

Arrests:

10/25/13 – Peggy Sue Salyer, 26 of Kendallville, was arrested following a traffic stop near the intersection of Lake and Main streets in Knox.

10/27/13 – Patricia Murdoch, 31 of North Judson, was arrested on charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Resisting Law Enforcement.

10/17/13 Serena Clemons, 26, of Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of a Syringe and cited for Operator Never Licensed.

10/17/13 Amy Singleton, 42, of Knox, arrested on preliminary charges of Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.
