Knox City Police Continue to Investigate Five Star Burglary

The Knox City Police Department continues to investigate the burglary at Five Star.

Police say they are looking for two male suspects who are approximately six feet tall. The vehicle used by the suspects is said to be a gold, late 1990s model Chevy Caprice with dark tinted windows. Detectives say that they have been receiving tips from the security footage that was posted on this website and are following up on the information given to them. Evidence was collected at the scene and is being analyzed by the Indiana State Police Crime Lab.

The suspects reportedly gained entry into the store by prying open the back door. They did damage to an ATM machine and attempted to take money, but no money was stolen.

The owner of Five Star is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved in this burglary.
