Five Arrested after Officers Execute Search Warrant

Officers from the Knox City Police Department executed a search warrant at 605 South Portland Street.  Police learned of possible drug activity at the residence and executed a search warrant on Wednesday, November 23rd. Officers reportedly found methamphetamine, marijuana, controlled substances and paraphernalia at the residence. Five people were arrested as a result of the search warrant.

Joseph Givens, 26, of Knox, and Kristen Webb, 27, of Knox, were arrested on preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of School Property. Brooke Webb, 23, of Knox, was arrested on preliminary charges of Visiting a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of School Property, and five counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of School Property. Nikki Givens, 19, of Knox, was arrested on preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of School Property. Zachariah Whitfield, 24, of Knox was arrested on a preliminary charge of Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

The Department of Child Services was called to the scene to take possession of the children who were present during the search warrant. All evidence confiscated was field tested and positively identified.
