Marshall County Police Make Three Drug-Related Arrests

A Winamac man was arrested last week after he was found to be operating a vehicle as a Habitual Traffic Violator.

An officer from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department saw a car driven by Jonathan Adriano, 29, who disregarded a red light on a traffic signal while traveling north on Pioneer Drive and U.S. 30 outside of Plymouth. The officer conducted a traffic stop and found that Adriano was operating as a Habitual Traffic Violator and he was wanted on a warrant out of Panama City, Fla.

Adriano was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail for the traffic violations and he is being held on the Florida warrant.

Over the weekend, Marshall County officers arrested two people after a traffic stop at the intersection of Upas and 10B Roads. The driver, Carter Scutchfield, was found to have a suspended license. During a search of the vehicle, officers found narcotics and used syringes in the vehicle, along with other evidence. Scutchfield and his passenger, Sarah Jaskowiak, were arrested on a preliminary charge of Possession of Methamphetamine. They are being held in the Marshall County Jail.
