Warrant Service Results in Meth Bust

Meth BustA pair of North Judson residents face drug charges following a drug bust in Born’s Trailer Park. Officers from the Starke County Major Crimes Unit reportedly saw items related to methamphetamine manufacture inside a U Road residence while serving an arrest warrant on Thursday, Sept. 8.

They got a search warrant and discovered a meth lab, chemicals used to make meth and illegal prescription medication inside the residence, according to the incident report.

Officers arrested 39-year-old Ronnie G. Moore and 46-year-old Gladys E. Richie, both of North Judson on preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine as a Level 5 felony and illegal drug lab as a Level 6 felony. Richie is also being held on outstanding warrants for attempted over purchase of pseudoephedrine and check deception.
