A longtime Winamac official will be laid to rest today. Funeral services for Town Council President Kenneth McFarland are this morning at 10:00 at Frain Mortuary.
McFarland died at his home Saturday evening at the age of 79.
Winamac town offices will be closed today for the funeral, according to the town’s Facebook page. The town will remain closed Monday for Independence Day.
