Pulaski County 4-H Auction Results

 
 

The 2016 Pulaski County 4-H Fair is in the books. This year’s auction brought in a total of $120,403.30.

The kiss from 4-H Achievement Royalty Queen Regan Culp fetched $2,700 from Jim Culp, Dan Culp and Joe Crist. Art and Melissa Newman purchased Miss Pulaski County Peyton Newman’s smooch for $1,150.

The high bid of the night was for Kirsten Calloway’s Reserve Grant Champion Barrow. The Friends of Kirsten Calloway Buyer’s Group paid $4,726 for it. The overall swine total was $65,603.25.

Beef: $15,565.05 total. Murray Leasing purchased the 5th Overall Beef Steer, shown by Kirsten Calloway, for $2,052.

Dairy: $17,312 total. Good Oil Company bought the Reserve Grand Dairy Steer belonging to Salena Leman for $2,329.50.

Goats: $7,969.50 total. The Friends of Kassi Dahn Buyers Group purchased her Grand Champion Wether for$1,224.

Poultry: $5,339 total. Jim Dobson Ford made the top poultry purchase from Katie Culp for $625.

Rabbits: $900 total. Jerry Locke for Commissioner spent $600 on Sydney DeWitt’s rabbit.

Sheep: $2014.50. M&R Ag/Becks Hybrid paid top money to Elizabeth Button.

The Pulaski County Extension Homemakers Quilt, made by Julie KastenWagner, was purchased by Tommy Murray, Jr. for $750. Proceeds from the sale go to the Extension Homemakers.
