A statewide organization dedicated to encouraging Republican women to enter leadership positions is now accepting applications for their courses.
The Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series says the 2016/17 class is entering its 27th year. The goal is to provide leadership training experience that encourages, mentors, and prepares women leaders to attain new levels of personal and professional achievement.
A total of 469 women from around the Hoosier state have completed the program. According to a press release, participants will be evaluated on written and oral presentations.
The organization is part of a nationwide training program that has seen leadership skills honed by women around the country.
