Five Ft. Wayne Residents Arrested for Dealing Meth

LaPorte County police say they’ve arrested five people who they believe traveled from Fort Wayne to sell illicit drugs. The LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation over the last few days culminated in the planned arrests in the parking lot of the LaPorte Walmart at around 4:45 Thursday afternoon.

Cahniqua Sparks, Gina Holliday, and Dovie Neer, all of Fort Wayne, face Level 5 Felony charges of Dealing Methamphetamine. Oscar K. Griffin and Mario Hanserd, also of Fort Wayne, face Aiding/Inducing charges in addition to Dealing Methamphetamine as a Level 5 Felony.

During the arrest, officers say they also seized a firearm. All five of the individuals are being held at the LaPorte County Jail. Police plan to file additional charges, as the investigation continues.

Officers from the LaPorte City Police Department Strike Force and LaPorte County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit with the arrests.
