Knox High School Receives Four-Star Award from State

Knox Community High School was recognized by the state of Indiana for their academic achievement during the previous school year.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz says she was pleased to recognize schools receiving high marks in several categories. In order to qualify for the honor, schools must rank in the top 25-percent of schools in two ISTEP-based categories, earn a high designation in accountability, and be an accredited school.

According to a press release, 287 schools across Indiana received the award. In addition to being a four-star school in Indiana, Knox High School has also been the recipient of a bronze award for ranking as one of America’s best high schools.
