The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum has canceled all of its excursions to LaCrosse until further notice. The museum blames the cancellations on an ongoing legal dispute over control of the railroad line. It’s owned by the Town of North Judson and operated by the Chesapeake & Indiana Railroad.

The excursions are considered a big tourist draw for the museum. More details on the situation are expected when the issue is discussed during a special session of the North Judson Town Council tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. at North Judson Town Hall.

For now, the museum’s 2:00 p.m. excursions are being shortened to a second English Lake trip. The 12:30 p.m. trip to English Lake remains unchanged.

Those who have already bought tickets for a LaCrosse trip may contact the museum for a refund.
