Voter Registration Deadline is Today

Today marks the final day for Indiana residents to register to vote in the May 3rd Primary Election.

Both county clerk’s offices and BMV license branches  are able to help first-time Indiana voters register. Those who have had a change of address may also transfer their voter registration to a new location. Updates can also be made online at IndianaVoters.In.gov, and there’s an app for that. Download Indiana Voters for your Android or Apple device.

The state-imposed deadline of April 4th ceases just prior to the start of early voting in Indiana. In-person absentee ballots may be cast starting Tuesday, April 5th. Hours and locations vary by county. Absentee and early voting will continue until Monday, May 2nd at noon.

Residents looking to register today have until the close of business at the local county clerk’s office. They may also register by mail or online until midnight.
