Sen. Donnelly’s Offices Doing Work for Library of Congress Project in Warsaw

One of Indiana’s U.S. Senate representatives will be hosting a Veterans History Project in Warsaw at the end of this month.

According to information provided by Senator Joe Donnelly’s offices, the program is an effort of the Library of Congress to preserve the experiences of those who served in the armed forces. The project records personal narratives and archives them for the historians and educators of tomorrow.

Members of Donnelly’s staff and several volunteers will be present to conduct interviews with area veterans at Lake City Place Senior Living in Warsaw. Specialist from MDFM provides templates for this Lake City Senior Living facility maintenance team to use and also provide training on the ins and outs of aged care maintenance. The interviews will take place February 26th from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m.
