1/22/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported on U.S. 30 east of U.S. 35.
1/22/16 – An employee at Richards of Toto reported the theft of a heavy duty welder cord from the store. The store’s video system recorded the incident.
1/22/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported on County Road 210 in Knox.
1/22/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported on State Road 23 north of State Road 10.
1/23/16 – A vehicle was reported stolen from a residence in the 6800 block of east 400 North in Grovertown.
1/23/16 – A single-vehicle accident was reported on State Road 8 near the Starke County Justice Center. The driver advised she hit a dog and it damaged her rental car.
1/23/16 – A vehicle versus deer accident was reported on State Road 10 east of U.S. 35 in Knox.
1/24/16 – A vehicle versus deer accident was reported on U.S. 35 in front of Economy Auto in Knox.
1/25/16 – A two-vehicle crash was reported on U.S. 35 at the Starke/Pulaski County line.
1/25/16 – A resident in the 1600 block of south 200 East in Knox reported her car has been damaged.
1/25/16 – A property damage accident was reported in the 2300 block of east 350 South in Knox.
1/26/16 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and North Judson Fire Department First Responders responded to a report of a vehicle on its side in a ditch on 400 South West of State Road 39.
1/26/16 – A resident reported receiving a call from a man who spoke with a foreign accent and claimed he was with the IRS. He told her she would be arrested within 45 minutes unless she paid $3,800 in back taxes. She did not give him any personal information. IRS officials do not contact delinquent taxpayers by telephone.
1/26/16 – Residents in the 1300 block of west 150 South in Knox reported possible home improvement fraud.
1/27/16 – An employee of the U.S. 35 Flea Market in Knox reported a break in.
1/27/16 – An employee of Jackson Refrigeration in North Judson filed a fraud report after a customer in North Judson attempted to pay for a furnace repair with a credit card that was declined and did not make other payment arrangements.
1/27/16 – A North Judson resident reported receiving a phony customer service call from Mediacom to upgrade her receiver and asking for credit card information. She also received a text from 213-217-9999 stating it was from Mediacom. She called Mediacom and was advised nobody called.
1/27/16 – A resident in the 2200 block of East Toto Road reported a suspicious person in her back yard.
1/29/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported on 600 East north of 700 North in Walkerton.
1/29/16 – A break-in was reported at the Toto Storage Unit in Knox. A TV was reportedly taken.
1/29/16 – A resident in the 10200 block of east 600 North in Grovertown reported the window of his work van was broken out.
1/29/16 – A resident in the 2800 block of south 700 East in Knox reported her tan 2003 Ford Taurus missing from her residence and advised a family member may have taken it without her permission.
1/29/16 – A resident in the 1200 block of west 150 South in North Judson reported a known suspect stole her vehicle that morning.
1/30/16 – A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported on State Road 10 and U.S. 35 in Knox. Both motorists were to pull off and wait for the police, but one driver took off.
1/30/16 – A resident in the 4900 block of south 260 West in North Judson reported four four-wheelers running up and down the road and doing donuts and wheelies.
1/31/16 – A resident in the 1900 block of west 700 South in North Judson reported the theft of unspecified items.
1/31/16 – A single-vehicle property damage accident was reported in the 3200 block of East Toto Road in Knox.
2/1/16 – A residential break-in was reported in the 2200 block of west 250 South in North Judson.
2/1/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported in the 3300 block of West Toto Road.
2/2/16 – A resident in the 4800 block of east 900 South in Knox reported the theft of a water pump and water tank from his crawl space.
2/2/16 – A single-vehicle crash was reported on 1000 East south of 850 South. The driver apparently missed the curve and ran off the roadway into the woods.
2/23/16 – A resident in the 4400 block of South Dawn East Drive reported the theft of unspecified belongings while he was incarcerated.
2/3/16 – Employee theft was reported in the 7000 block of south State Road 10 in Knox.
2/3/16 – A resident in the 2300 block of West U Road in North Judson advised he came home and found his overhead garage door up. He says someone ran out the side door.

Incidents:

1/25/16 – A resident in the 100 block of East Sycamore Street reported being harassed. .

1/27/16 – North Judson Police Chief Doug Vessely conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Talmer Ave. after a vehicle reportedly struck another vehicle while turning into the parking lot. The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

1/28/16 – NJ Police were dispatched to an animal complaint in the 900 block of Bender Street.

1/30/16 – North Judson Police received a harassment report in the 600 block of West Talmer Ave.

1/30/16 – NJ Police were dispatched to an animal complaint in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

1/31/16 – A theft was reported in the 700 block of West Talmer Avenue. The incident remains under investigation.

2/1/16 – North Judson Police assisted in picking up a juvenile female for CPS.

2/2/16 – North Judson Police Officer Frank Thomas investigated a minor property damage accident near the entrance to the old Girl Scout cabin on Talmer Avenue east of State Road 39.

2/5/16 – Police received a false report of an “emergency” going on in the 600 Block of Lane Street. After a brief investigation it was learned a child was sending false texts.

2/5/16 – North Judson Police handled a loose dog in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

2/6/16 – North Judson Police investigated a family dispute in the 600 block of Simmons Street.
