The Oregon-Davis School Board this week unanimously approved a contract for their interim superintendent.
Jim Dermody took over as head of the corporation on Jan. 1 and will serve in that capacity through June 30. He replaces Greg Briles, who left O-D to take a job with the Delphi school corporation.
Dermody previously served as superintendent of the New Prairie School Corporation. O-D is paying him $500 per day as per the terms of the contract.
