Winter Wonderland Activities Already Underway

Get an early start on this year’s scavenger hunt as part of the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce Winter Wonderland. Free game cards are available at the chamber office inside Refined at 102 N. Monticello Street, the Winamac Town Office and Pearl Street Market. Players need to work their way south from Good Oil to Poblanos to complete their cards. Completed cards need to be turned in at Winter Wonderland for a chance to win a $50 prize.

It’s one of several Winter Wonderland activities. Start the day at Eastern Pulaski Elementary School, where the craft and business booths will be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Food booths will also be set up in downtown Winamac. Enjoy sounds of the holidays at the Pulaski County Courthouse and sales and specials at businesses throughout town. Pulaski County Human Services is having a bake sale. The Boy Scouts will be conducting a coat drive at the corner of Market and Main Streets near the Pulaski County Courthouse. Activities are also planned at the Pulaski County Public Library in Winamac, and you don’t want to miss the Winter Wonderland Parade at noon. WKVI’s Tom Berg will be broadcasting live tomorrow morning as well. Festivities will continue until 3 p.m. EST.
