Tepicon Hall at Tippecanoe River State Park will be getting some electrical upgrades as well as a new handicap-accessible entrance thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of Pulaski County. Friends of Tippecanoe River State Park, a not-for-profit volunteer group providing support to the park, received a $5,000 grant from the foundation’s Community Grants Fund.

In a statement, Friends of Tippecanoe River State Park President Danny Kistler thanked the Community Foundation for the grant, saying the upgrade preserves the building’s rich history while making sure it remains a comfortable and accessible space for everyone. The group says it plans to host an open house once construction is complete.
