Several supporters of the North Judson-San Pierre Schools general fund referendum say their yard signs have disappeared. Several were put out over the weekend and were apparently taken.

The school corporation is asking voters who live within the district, which includes all of Wayne, Railroad and Jackson Townships plus California Township precinct 2 in Starke County and Rich Grove and Cass Townships in Pulaski County to support a property tax increase to shore up the corporation’s general fund. They say the school is in dire financial straits due to a combination of state funding cuts and declining enrollment.

Anyone who might have taken the signs is asked to kindly return them.
