Absentee Voting Continues

Absentee voting continues ahead of next month’s General Election.

As of Friday afternoon, 46 people have voted early in Starke County, while Pulaski County’s had only four. The only items on the ballot there are a Medaryville town election and the North Judson-San Pierre School referendum for voters in that district.

Hours for in-person absentee voting in Pulaski County are 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the hall of the County Courthouse.

In Starke County, absentee voting’s taking place Monday through Friday from noon to 4:00 p.m., except November 2, when it’s from 8:00 a.m. to noon, with additional voting hours being held Saturdays 8:00 a.m. until noon. Starke County in-person absentee voting takes place on the second floor of the County Courthouse.

To vote absentee in person, voters must have a driver’s license, picture ID, or passport.
