Absentee Voting Begins

Absentee voting starts today for November’s General Election.

Hours for in-person absentee voting in Pulaski County are 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the hall of the County Courthouse.

Pulaski County Clerk Tasha Foerg says this year’s ballot is short, “We don’t have a lot to vote on at this point. All we have is a Medaryville town election, where they’re voting for their Town Council, and then the referendum question from the North Judson- San Pierre School District, and that’s about all we have going on.”

In Starke County, absentee voting’s taking place Tuesday through Friday from noon to 4:00 p.m., plus Monday October 19 and October 26 from noon to 4:00 p.m., Saturday October 24 and October 31 from 8:00 a.m. to noon, and Monday November 2 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Starke County in-person absentee voting will be held on the second floor of the County Courthouse.

To vote absentee in person, voters must have a driver’s license, picture ID, or passport.
