Knox High School Hosts Career Fair

Hoping to develop successful careers as adults, students from Knox High school and some from the 8th grade will be meeting with college representatives and counselors today at the “Fall Career Fair.” Tomorrow junior high school students will participate in a “mini college fair” during the lunch periods.

Monday’s evening School Board Meeting heard from two students from Mrs. Simmons “Bio-2” class who reported on a recent river rafting trip on the Tippecanoe River. Allison Marshall and Conner Gates gave reports on what they learned about the river environment and its wildlife. Fifteen students made the trip.

Superintendent A. J. Gappa read a letter from a football referee who officiated at Friday’s Knox-John Glenn game, commending the team leadership and attitudes of both

captains.
