Francesville Fall Festival Continues

The Francesville Francesville FlagFall Festival continues today.

Some of today’s highlights include bake contest judging and a performance from the Night Shift Band, both starting at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. The 2015 Lincoln Funeral Train will be open for tours. It will be commemorating the original train, which made a brief stop for refueling in Francesville as it carried President Lincoln’s body to Chicago 150 years ago. An Abraham Lincoln look-alike contest will be held at 1:00, and professional Lincoln impersonator Michael Krebs will speak at 1:30. Then, the Fall Festival Parade steps off at 2:00. The day’s festivities will finish with a fireworks show at dusk.

The festival’s back for a final day tomorrow, starting at 10:00 a.m. At 1:00 p.m., there will be a cornhole tournament, garden tractor pull, and the fireman’s waterball challenge.
