EPSB to Review Budget, Enrollment Numbers

The Eastern Pulaski School Corporation hopes to open a public hearing on its budget during a meeting this evening.

A hearing has been scheduled to review the budget figures for fiscal year 2016. Capital projects plans for the next two years will also be discussed. Eastern Pulaski has been working for some time to upgrade its school facilities.

The bus replacement schedule will also be considered through 2027.

Superintendent Dan Foster will provide school board members with tentative enrollment figures at tonight’s meeting. Student enrollment affects funding at the state level, making retention and attraction efforts crucial to budget decisions.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.
