Republican voters in North Judson will select a nominee for the Ward 2 town council seat this week. A town convention is scheduled Thursday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the new fire station.
Voters who live within the town limits will choose between incumbent council president Wendy Hoppe and challenger Jesiah Clemons. Registered GOP voters will need to bring a photo ID. They may register from 5:30 until 6:25 p.m. The winner of Thursday’s contest will face Democrat Joan Haugh in November.
