Indiana Parks Alliance Contributes to Grant Funds for Classroom Field Trips

The Indiana Parks Alliance has donated funds that will allow more than students from 22 Indiana schools to learn more about the outdoors.

The IPA was formed in 2014 to act as a charity organization for Indiana State Parks.

A $1,000 contribution was made by the Parks Alliance to the Discovering the Outdoors Fund that will ultimately lead to grants. Those grants come courtesy of the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation.

According to information released by the Parks Alliance, grants can help fund transportation costs, program fees, and classroom supplies while preparing for field trips.

The donations come from member contributions to the Parks Alliance.
