Pulaski County Fair Shuffles Weekend Event Locations

A few popular events at the Pulaski County Fair will take place in alternate locations this weekend in order to get the fairgrounds ready for next weekend’s influx of visitors. Water is finally receding at the Winamac Town Park, where events will take place Monday through Thursday.

All pre-judging was done offsite, and exhibits will be brought to the fairgrounds on Sunday. Meanwhile, open class entries will be accepted at the Pulaski County Highway Garage on U.S. 35 just north of Winamac from 5 until 7 p.m. today and from 8:30 until 11 tomorrow morning. Judging will take place at noon.

The annual 4-H Achievement recognition program has been moved to the Winamac Nazarene Church. It will take place tomorrow at 3 p.m. The fashion revue is also scheduled there at 5.

Livestock will be brought to the fairgrounds on Sunday on a staggered schedule. The watermelon eating contest will also take place there at 3 p.m.

The weekend’s activities will conclude with the Miss Pulaski pageant Sunday at 8 p.m. at Winamac Community High School.
