National Weather Service Extends Tippecanoe River Flood Warning

 
 

The flood warning for the Tippecanoe River near Ora has been extended until Wednesday morning. The river was at 13 feet and falling last night at 9, according to the National Weather Service.

Flood stage is 12 feet. Minor flooding is occurring, and minor flooding is forecast. The river is expected to fall below the 12 foot flood stage around 8 a.m. tomorrow. At 13 feet flooding begins to affect streets and homes in Monterey.
