Lengthy Meth Investigation Leads to Arrest

A months-long, multi-agency investigation into drug activity leads to an arrest.

John L. Groves, Jr. faces two counts each of manufacture/dealing in methamphetamine, possession of a precursor and dumping controlled substance waste. He’s jailed on a $50,000 cash bond in Marshall County. Groves was arrested last week by officers from the Marshall County Police Department. The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police and the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office assisted with the investigation.
