Income Surveys Needed for Pulaski County Planning Grant

Pulaski County CourthouseMore income surveys are needed to help Pulaski County obtain a planning grant for a new EMS building.

Pulaski County Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer told the county commissioners this week that 500 surveys are needed, and only 100 have been returned.

A new building for the EMS department would alleviate the lack of ambulance housing. The building would also include a training room and EMS and Emergency Management Agency equipment. A planning grant would help the county in with the cost of the structure.

The surveys were randomly mailed to Pulaski County residents by K-IRPC officials as part of the grant process. County officials urge residents to return those surveys. They may solicit information from those surveys in person or by phone to ensure they get the number needed to move forward with the grant.
