Bella Vita to Host Fundraising Banquet

  
 

Bella Vita will be celebrating five years of helping women in Starke County this month.

The Bella Vita Pregnancy Resource Center in Knox provides free pregnancy tests, options counseling, peer advocate-assisted mentorship, and various educational programs in an effort to support those facing a crisis pregnancy situation.

A fundraising banquet is set for Thursday, April 16th, at 6:00 p.m. CT at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox. According to Bella Vita Center Director Sarah Dedloff, Peggy Rumer from Kentucky will be the guest speaker. She will deliver her personal life experiences as well as perform a song.

An annual update of programs and finances will be delivered to those in attendance.

Tickets for the event are $25 apiece or two for $40 which are available at the door. Funding will help support programs within the organization. Training for volunteers will take place April 20, April 21, April 23 and April 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. CT at the facility at 52 W. Lake Street in Knox.
