Eastern Pulaski School Board Ready for Next Step in Renovations

Eastern Pulaski Schools are expected to take some action regarding their building project.

The School Corporation has been working for some time to update schools for improved safety upgrading restrooms, and replacing floors in the gyms. The project is estimated to cost about $14-million. Architectural plans were largely finalized in January.

During tonight’s meeting, the Eastern Pulaski School Board is anticipated to review resolutions that will award construction bids for the renovation projects.

Superintendent Dan Foster said the School Corporation wants to take its time with the process considering the project’s scope. Bids are expected back in mid-March.

The Board will also consider lighting quotes for the auditorium, tonight. The agenda implies bonds may be issued to help pay for the work.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 5:30 EST at the Distance Learning Lab.
