Watch for Blowing and Drifting Snow during Storm, Highway Crews Will Be Busy

With another significant snow event on Saturday, keep in mind that blowing and drifting snow is a factor which could hamper travel plans.

It is recommended that an emergency kit be left in your vehicle.  That kit should include jumper cables, a flashlight, batteries, a battery-operated radio, non-perishable food, blankets, and winter clothes.  Place a bag of kitty litter in the car in case you get stuck in the snow along with a little shovel or snow shovel.
