Culver Police Crack Down on Suspended Drivers

 
 

Officers from the Culver Police Department are cracking down on suspended drivers. Between Jan. 22 and 27 officers summoned and/or arrested six separate drivers on driving while suspended charges.

Larry Johnson, 57, of Culver, was stopped at North Main and Cass Streets for an equipment violation on Jan. 22, cited for driving on a suspended license and issued a summons to appear in Marshall Superior Court. Later that evening Culver Police stopped a vehicle driven by Gina Hominger, 45, of Culver, at Lakeshore Drive and State Road 10 for an equipment violation, cited and summoned to appear in court.

The third stop occurred on Jan. 24 and resulted in an arrest. Scott McNeece, 44, of Culver, was pulled over for a headlamp violation at State Road 17 and Jefferson Street and arrested for operating on a suspended drivers license with a prior offense, which is a misdemeanor.

An early morning traffic stop at Lakeshore Drive and Lakeview Street for a headlamp violation on Jan. 26 also resulted in an arrest. Joshua Hopper, 25, of Culver, was arrested for operating on a suspended license with a prior offense.

The sixth traffic stop occurred Jan. 27 at Lakeshore Drive and Fleet Parkway. Tori Drubert, 19, of Warsaw, was cited for operating on a suspended license and issued a summons to appear in Marshall Superior Court.
