Sunday Traffic Stop Ends With Drug Arrests

Formal charges are pending against two men following a Sunday morning traffic stop. A deputy from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department pulled a car driven by William A. Ferguson, 34, over in the area of U.S. 30 and Oak Road just after 11 a.m.

Ferguson was cited for driving while suspended, prior offense. The deputy found a marijuana pipe, drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine in the vehicle, according to a sheriff’s department news release. Ferguson and his passenger Robert Ochoa, 19, were both arrested. The Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing the file for consideration of charges.
