Polls are Open for General Election

 
 

Today is Election Day! The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.

You need to have a legal ID in order to cast your important vote at the polls. The Bureau of Motor Vehicles will be open during the time the polls are open. License branches will only process new, amended or replacement ID cards, and renewed, amended or replacement driver’s licenses, learner permits, and CDLs. Aside from disability placards, the branches will not perform any other BMV services today only.

The Starke County Clerk’s office reported 1,244 total absentee votes. 1,007 of those were walk-in votes, 197 were mail-in votes and travel board workers collected 40 votes. In Pulaski County, there were 550 walk-in votes, 84 mail-in votes and 44 travel board votes. The Marshall County Clerk’s office reported 1,635 total absentee votes.

The WKVI Information Center will be fully staffed to deliver election results shortly after 5 p.m. CT. We will have live election results from Pulaski County and Marshall County as they are released shortly after 6 p.m. ET. The polls in Starke County close at 6 p.m. CT and results will be given live from the Starke County Courthouse.
