11/13/14 – Two Redbox movies were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of East Lake Street.

11/14/14 – Officers responded to a vehicle versus deer accident. It occurred on U.S. 35 south between Knox and Bass Lake.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Grovertown Truck Stop for a report of a vehicle that was sugared.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on State Road 8 at 550 East in Knox.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on U.S. 30 west of the truck stop.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle property damage accident on U.S. 35 between 400 and 500 South in Knox.

11/10/14 – A resident in the 6200 block of East 250 North in Grovertown reported someone cut the electric line from the pole to the house the previous night. The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded.

11/10/14 – The owner of a rental home in the 8600 block of South Sycamore Street in Monterey reported someone broke in and posted photos on Facebook.

11/10/14 – A deer hunter in North Judson reported the ratchet straps on his blind were cut and thrown into the field.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at the intersection of U.S. 421 and State Road 10 in North Judson.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department and EMS responded to a residence in the 5200 block of South A Street in North Judson for a report of a possible concussion and bite to the ear resulting from a battery incident.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on State Road 39 north of State Road 8 in Knox.

11/10/14 – A resident in the 10300 block of East State Road 23 in Walkerton reported suspicious activity at a vacant residence next door.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on State Road 8 by the railroad tracks in Knox.

11/10/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a suspicious fire at the former Bass Lake Golf Course. An investigation is pending.

11/11/14 – A resident in the 5500 block of East 100 North in Knox reported the theft of her credit card numbers.

11/11/14 – A clerk at KP Korner in the 7000 block of South State Road 10 in Knox reported $500 in fuel missing for the second time.

11/11/14 – A Starke County Sheriff’s Deputy found the burnt remains of a one-pot meth lab on County Road 775 North east of 700 East in Hamlet. The Indiana State Police was notified.

11/11/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on U.S. 35 one mile north of State Road 10 in Knox.

11/12/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Hamlet Police Department, Starke County EMS, Hamlet Fire Department and Koontz Lake Fire Department responded to single vehicle rollover accident in the 4300 block of north 900 East in Grovertown.

11/13/14 – The Bass Lake Fire Department and Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle fire on U.S. 35 north of the Melody Drive In at Bass Lake. No injuries were reported. Fire investigators determined the fire started in the car’s battery compartment.

11/13/14 – A resident in the 6100 block of south 250 West in North Judson reported a man in a purple Nissan has parked in front of her neighbor’s house, got his son out of the vehicle, put an orange hat and vest on and is trying to hunt deer in the neighbor’s yard.

11/14/14 – A resident in the 6700 block of South State Road 10 in Knox reported the theft of a stereo from her vehicle the previous night.

11/14/14 – A San Pierre resident reported credit card fraud.

11/14/14 – A resident in the 6700 block of South State Road 10 in Knox reported the theft of medication from her residence.

11/14/14 – A man discovered evidence of drug activity in the Grovertown Game Preserve between State Road 23 and 1100 East in Knox.

11/14/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on U.S. 421 north of 400 South in North Judson.

11/14/14 – A motorist hit a deer on U.S. 35 in front of the Astoria Inn in Knox.

11/14/14 – A resident in the 1100 block of East State Road 10 in Knox reported someone broke into his vehicle and stole the radio and dash controls sometime between Nov. 10 and today.

11/14/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on Toto Road east of Range Road in Knox.

11/14/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department and Knox City Police Department investigated a report of a large truck with loud exhaust that went around the barricade on 800 East south of 25 North in Knox, possibly to try to steal something.

11/14/14 – The Koontz Lake Fire Department and Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle fire the 11000 block of East Circle Ave. in Walkerton.

11/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department received a report of vandalism to a house in the 300 block of west 625 South in North Judson.

11/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on 500 North west of U.S. 35 in Grovertown.

11/15/14 – Officers responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at Save A Lot in Knox.

11/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on State Road 10 east of U.S. 421 in North Judson.

11/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on U.S. 35 at State Road 10 in Bass Lake.

11/16/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a property damage accident in the yard of a residence in the 8300 block of North State Road 23 in Walkerton. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and passed out with the vehicle in gear.

11/16/14 – Police and the Hamlet Volunteer Fire Department responded to a slide-off in the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 just east of the U.S. 35 exit. No injuries were reported.

11/16/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS and Hamlet Volunteer Fire Department responded to a rollover accident in the median of U.S. 30 west of U.S. 35.

11/16/14 – A resident in the 1700 block of west 450 South in North Judson reported her registration sticker was peeled from the license plate of her vehicle.

11/16/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident on State Road 10 west of U.S. 35 in Knox. The driver was not injured.

11/16/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on State Road 39 south of State Road 8. The driver hit a guardrail over the river hard enough for the airbags to deploy, but no injuries were reported.
