LaPorte Police are investigating a reported robbery at a discount store. They were called to the Family Dollar on Lincolnway Friday evening. A store employee told the officers she saw two white women leaving the store with items they had not purchased.
When she tried to stop them, one pushed her out of the way and she hit her elbow on the metal door frame. Police say the other woman stopped long enough to give back several stolen items. The two women fled in a light blue Mercury sedan.
