High Water Plagues Pulaski County Roads

Three roads remain affected by the recent rains in Pulaski County.

Pulaski County Highway Superintendent Mark Fox reminded the commissioners Monday night that 700 South between 225 East and U.S. 35 is closed due to a flooded roadway.

High water remains on 250 East between 475 S. and U.S. 35 and on 400 East between 700 S. and 800 S.

Fox urges drivers to seek an alternate route. If you see a road is under water, turn around and find another way to get to your destination.

He added that the summer projects are winding down and bridge inspections have started. Inspectors will be at several bridge locations taking pictures and assessing the condition of the bridges.
