Incidents:

8/11/14 – A Knox resident came to the Starke County Sheriff’s Department to file a harassment report.

8/11/14 – A caller in the 10200 block of East Watson Street in Walkerton called to complain about loud music and said a resident at the corner of Watson and Pine Tree Lane blasts music seven days a week.

8/12/14 – Starke County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at the intersection of U.S. 35 and Toto Road.

8/12/14 – A resident in the 1600 block of North 300 East in Knox called the sheriff’s department to report the theft of a water heater, furnace, copper and other items from a residence.

8/12/14 – A Walkerton resident reported a domestic battery and intimidation incident at a residence there.

8/12/14 – A resident in the 12200 block of East Watson Street called the sheriff’s department to complain about his neighbor’s loud music.

8/13/14 – A resident in the 3900 block of South 200 East in Knox reported receiving harassing telephone calls from a family member and his girlfriend.

8/13/14 – A resident in the 5100 block of South 275 West in North Judson reported a pit bull running loose in the area and said it attacked her dog.

8/13/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS and Hamlet Fire Department responded to a rollover wreck on U.S. 35 south of 500 North.

8/13/14 – A sheriff’s deputy took a report of a battery incident that occurred at 250 North and U.S. 35 in Knox.

8/13/14 – Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of animal neglect in the 10700 block of East 900 South in Monterey.

8/14/14 – A resident in the 2100 block of North Range Road in Knox reported a vehicle sitting in their driveway/field with nobody around.

8/14/14 – A resident in the 6500 block of South 700 East in Knox reported a residential break-in.

8/14/14 – A resident in the 2700 block of Tribue Drive in Knox reported receiving a possible scam telephone call.

8/14/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS and Bass Lake Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on 700 East south of 800 South in Knox.

8/15/14 – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a property damage accident at State Road 8 and 200 East in Knox.

8/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, EMS and first responders were dispatched to the walking trail 2.5 miles west of U.S. 35 for a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

8/15/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a property damage accident at the intersection of U.S. 30 and 35.

8/15/14 – A phone was reported stolen from a car parked in the 5100 block of South A Street in North Judson.

8/15/14 – A tan and peach Ford F 150 4×4 extended cab truck was stolen from a residence in the 8800 block of South U.S. 35.

8/15/14 – A resident in the 7700 block of North 1200 East in Koontz Lake reported extremely loud, explicit music coming from the area of South Avenue/South Street.

8/15/14 – A farmer reported vandalism to a house at 200 East and 250 South in Knox.

8/16/14 – A vehicle versus deer accident was reported at the intersection of State Road 8 and State Road 23 in Knox.

8/16/14 – The owner of a home in the 2000 block of East 250 South in Knox reported the rental home has been broken into and someone may be living there.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 10700 block of East 50 North in Knox reported the tire on his vehicle has been slashed.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 6000 block of South 700 East in Knox reported several mailboxes in that area were smashed the previous night.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 3100 block of West 400 South in North Judson reported a break-in.

8/17/14 – A female came to the Starke County Sheriff’s Department and advised someone pulled a gun on her on Debby Drive in Knox.

8/17/14 – Dispatchers received a complaint of a child between the ages of 10 and 14 driving a small motorcycle up and down the road in Born’s Trailer Park speeding and not stopping for stop signs.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 8200 block of North High Street in Walkerton reported the theft of her tablet by a known suspect.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 7500 block of South U.S. 421 in San Pierre reported being battered.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 2600 block of East 525 South in Knox reported the windows in his semi truck have been busted out.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 5100 block of South Wesley Street in North Judson reported her 13-year-old son was riding his bicycle and was struck by an older, green Monte Carlo, which fled the scene. She said he suffered minor injuries and does not require an ambulance. Officers were unable to locate the driver.

8/17/14 – A resident in the 11900 block of East State Road 8 in Culver reported her television set was stolen.

Arrests:

8/14/14 – Kristie M. Thielmann, 33, Walkerton: Resisting law enforcement, leaving the scene of an accident – property damage.
